Customer access

Public visitors can always see the current release posture, while entitled customers can authorize the stable installer from either a recovery token or a signed-in account context.

Recovery-link access

Use a manage or success recovery link to unlock download authorization for the latest stable Windows installer.

How access works

The route does not assume every visitor already has an account or an entitlement.

  • Guest buyers receive success and manage links from fulfillment email.
  • Those recovery tokens can mint a fresh one-time release download authorization here.
  • Signed-in customers can also authorize downloads from their linked purchase context without waiting for a separate route.

Signed-in account access

This signed-in preview covers one bounded purchase window even when no installer-ready linked purchase is visible here.

  • Sign in with the purchase email to auto-link any matching guest purchases.
  • Use account downloads or a purchase detail page for linked entitlement history.
  • If nothing is linked yet, recovery tokens and support still remain available.

Recent stable history

Release artifacts stay immutable; channel pointers move. The public page can show recent stable history without exposing raw blob paths.
